Situated on the Western border of the Samburu Game Reserve, in Kenya’s Great Northern Frontier District.
Accommodation and facilities:
Accommodation is in eight luxury tents furnished with campaign furniture, antiques and Persian rugs. All have four poster beds, private en suite dressing rooms and bathrooms with safari style canvas baths. Lunch is taken al fresco on the riverbank watching elephant come for their daily drink, with dinner being served in the shimmering light of the candelabras in the Bedouin mess tent. Alternatively guests can dine privately under the stars.
Activities:
A host of activities are available including day and night game drives, escorted nature walks, camel trekking, fishing and birding. Guests can also enjoy rafting adventures through the reserve and pre-arranged helicopter trips.
Special attractions:
In keeping with the true spirit of an African safari, guests at Bedouin Camp can experience fly camping on top of the mystical Mount Lolokwe.
